I’m not Josh McDowell. I’m not even Sean McDowell—but I did go to Biola with the guy! I’m just a local professor, speaker and trainer who’s had the honor of studying under some of the best Christian thinkers in the world while earning my M.A. in Christian Apologetics at Biola University.

On this site, you’ll discover some of the most important lessons I learned during my graduate work and practical training tips from over 10 years of teaching apologetics to students, adults and even on the mission field—in a way that’s really accessible.

My blog posts and resources are designed to help you share reasons to believe in a way that’s simple to get and easy to remember. As you learn some new concepts, I hope you’ll try them out in everyday life, and then share what you’ve learned with people at your church.

Short Bio

Mikel Del Rosario helps Christians defend the faith with confidence. Mikel is an Apologetics Professor, Speaker and Trainer who specializes in making apologetics accessible to the local church. He teaches Christian Apologetics courses at Western Seminary and William Jessup University. He is also an adjunct professor of Religion and Ethics at University of Phoenix. Mikel is the author of the Accessible Apologetics curriculum. He holds a Master’s Degree in Christian Apologetics with Highest Honors from Biola University. Mikel is the Apologetics Guy at ApologeticsGuy.com.

Long Bio

Mikel Del Rosario has equipped believers from the West Coast to the Far East, challenging both young people and adults to be better-prepared ambassadors of Jesus Christ.

Education

Mikel completed his B.A. in Communications with an minor in Biblical Studies at Biola University (1999). After this, he went on to study under some of the best apologists in the world, earning his M.A. in Christian Apologetics with highest honors from Biola University (2003).

Mikel is an active speaker for both youth and adult audiences at churches, schools and conferences in the United States, Canada and the Philippines. He’s lectured alongside expert apologists like William Lane Craig, J.P. Moreland, Craig Hazen, and Greg Koukl.

Publications

Mikel is the author of Accessible Apologetics, a 5-week training program for everyday defenders of the faith (Endorsed by J.P. Moreland & Craig Hazen). It comes in 3 flavors: Church curriculum, student workbook, and online course.

Appearances

Mikel has been a featured apologetics panelist on KKLA 99.5 FM, the Intersection of Faith and Reason. He has also appeared in Focus on the Family’s Citizen Magazine.

Affiliations

Mikel is a staff apologist with Apologetics.com and a member of the Christian Apologetics Alliance. He is also a peer-reviewer for Hope’s Reason Apologetics Journal. In 2003, Mikel was ordained as a minister by the Baptist General Conference.

Personal Stuff

Mikel lives in the greater Sacramento area with his wife and son. He’s the volunteer worship pastor for Living Hope Christian Church. Mikel enjoys blogging, graphic design and Web development. An interesting bit of trivia is that he also appeared as an extra in the 2002 film, Spiderman (and hit Tobey MaGuire on the shoulder while running on the set)!
