Hi! I’m Mikel
I’m not the next Josh McDowell. I’m not a huge name like William Lane Craig—although I did study under him at Biola!
I’m just a regular guy who’s had the honor of studying under and working with leading Christian apologists while earning my Master of Arts in Christian Apologetics at Biola University.
I help Christians defend the faith with confidence.
Additionally, I get work with Darrell Bock at the Hendricks Center where I manage the Table Podcast, and write cultural engagement content for the Center’s blog as well as one of the top theological journals in the world: Bibliotheca Sacra.
I was born in Illinois but grew up in the Philippines. That’s where I decided to become a follower Jesus. Even though I grew up on a Christian home, I always had a bunch of questions about the faith: “Can I really trust the Bible?” “Is Christianity really true?”
During my teenage years, I began to discover that there are good answers to the hard questions. The more I looked into the case for Christianity, the stronger my faith became. I want that same confidence for you.
So why read my blog?
Because the content I make available can help you—and your church—defend the faith with confidence.
On this site, you’ll discover some of the most important lessons I learned during my graduate work in apologetics, my current studies in theology, and practical training tips from over 10 years of teaching apologetics to students, adults and even on the mission field—in a way that’s really accessible.
If you’re new here, “Welcome!” Start off with my top 7 articles on the basics of defending the faith.
After that, check out some of my greatest hits from around the blog:
- Did Jesus Say He Was God?
- America After 9/11 – Is Religion Evil?
- Spiritual Warfare – What You Didn’t Hear at Bible Study
- A Story About Faith – How to Illustrate Biblical Faith
- The Resurrection of Jesus – An Unlikely Easter Conversation
One more thing…
If you’re interested in getting started with an apologetics study, check out my Accessible Apologetics Workbook. It includes full access to the complete audio recordings of an entire 5-week training program I did at Bridgeway Christian Church based on my Accessible Apologetics Curriculum.
I’m not a nationally-recognized speaker or a big name. But I’m here to help.
My name is Mikel. Welcome to my blog.
Mikel Del Rosario
P.S. Are you a ministry leader?

I completed my B.A. in Communications with an minor in Biblical Studies at Biola University (1999). After this, I earned my M.A. in Christian Apologetics with highest honors from Biola University (2003). I’m currently pursuing a Master of Theology (Th.M) at Dallas Theological Seminary.

I’m an active speaker for both youth and adult audiences at churches, schools and conferences. I’ve presented at small, medium and large apologetics events alongside expert apologists like J.P. Moreland and Craig Hazen.
I’m the author of Accessible Apologetics, a training program for everyday defenders of the faith. I have also co-authored a number of cultural engagement articles with Darrell Bock, which appear in the theological journal Bibliotheca Sacra.
