I’m not the next Josh McDowell.
I’m not even as popular Sean McDowell—but I did go to Biola with the guy! I’m just a local speaker, professor and Christian apologist who studied under some of the best Christian thinkers in the world while earning my M.A. in Christian Apologetics at Biola University and working on my 4-year Master of Theology (Th.M) at Dallas Theological Seminary.
So why another apologetics blog?
This one is specifically focused on helping you develop defenders of the faith. I hope you’ll learn some new concepts, use them in real conversations, and then share what you’ve learned with your church.
You understand the importance of knowing what we believe and why we believe it. Maybe you’ve devoured incredible apologetics books and you’re dying to share everything you learned. But making it accessible to people who are totally new to this whole thing can seem tough. Where do you begin?
If you want to learn and teach apologetics in a way that’s simple to get and easy to remember, this blog is for you.
I want to share with you some of the most important lessons I’ve learned from my graduate studies and training tips from over ten years of teaching apologetics to students, adults and even on the mission field—in a way that’s truly accessible.
I’m not a national speaker or a big name. But I’m here to help. My name is Mikel. Welcome to my blog.
